About The Campaign

The Municipality of Anchorage Employees' Fundraising Campaign allows city employees and their families to demonstrate their sense of community by supporting issues that concern the residents of Anchorage.  Muni employees run an annual fundraising drive (the Municipal Employees' Fundraising Campaign, also known as MEFC) as a way to give to charitable organizations of their choice.

This year, the campaign will run from Monday, October 26th through noon on December 31st.  Our goal is to give $60,000 to our local community.

With United Way of Anchorage's assistance, the campaign includes local non-profit agencies that have undergone a prescreening process to confirm nonprofit status and qualify for MEFC support. Employees have the opportunity to select a charity from those qualifying agencies to donate to.

United Way helps our local charities better support our community by ensuring the funds go to legitimate non-profits.  By pledging through United Way, our local charities are able to better plan their goals for next year with a solid budget.

We will use an on-line only pledge system where you may donate either by payroll deduction or by credit card. To make a pledge, follow the link below.
